"I'll try not to apologise too much for the game but I'm glad I got in for free, that's for sure," Adams said after the 0-0 draw.
"I'm pleased with a point although the performance wasn't anywhere near what I wanted.
"But, that said, we've played much better than that and lost.
"We had two great chances. Antti Niemi saved from Muzzy Izzet and Sir Les should have scored.
"But we're still fourth-bottom and the pressure is now on other teams to see how they cope with being in the bottom three."
