Media reports were claiming Adams was ready to sign the Scotland Under-21 forward but the Leicester manager claims no offer has been made.
"Pearson is one of a number of players we are taking a look at but that is as far as it goes," he told the club's official website.
"There has been no offer. We are on record as saying we are looking to bring several new faces into the club and our search is continuing in that respect."
