Adams accepts red-card decisions

Rogers saw red for kicking out at Jesper Gronkjaer although tv replays clearly show it was the ball that he was kicking at, while Scimeca was sent off for a second bookable offence although his first yellow card seemed harsh.

"I was obviously disappointed with the red cards, that's for sure, especially as we have a £100,000 suspended fine hanging over us," he admitted.

"It wasn't that type of game, but I respect Rob Styles, he's an honest man and I'm not here to criticise him.

"It was a great occasion but we wanted to spoil it and had a game plan to do so.

"We rode our luck a bit but had our chances at the death and were right in with a shout until a bit of indiscipline cost us at the end."
