Sheffield United vs Leicester Preview: How to Watch On TV, Live Stream, Kick Off Time & Team News

Leicester City return to Premier League action this weekend when they travel to bottom of the table Sheffield United.

Brendan Rodgers' men have been out-of-form of late, and find themselves without a win in four matches - including a bitterly disappointing home defeat to Fulham at King Power Stadium.

As for Chris Wilder's Blades, they quickly need to start picking up points if they're going to stand a chance of survival. Defeat against West Brom last time out saw the club set a new record for the worst start to a Premier League season.

With victory imperative for both sides, here's 90min's preview of the game.

Leicester rotated their side heavily for the Europa League clash with Zorya in midweek, and Brendan Rodgers is set to ring the changes once more. The Foxes are definitely without Timothy Castagne, but hope that Wes Morgan (back) and Caglar Soyuncu (groin) can get over the niggles they re-aggravated in midweek

Wilfred Ndidi could feature, but Ricardo Pereira may have to settle for a place on the bench as he builds up his fitness.

Predicted Lineups

Sheffield United: Ramsdale; Basham, Egan, Bryan; Baldock, Berge, Norwood, Fleck, Lowe; McBurnie, Burke

Leicester: Schmeichel; Fofana, Evans, Fuchs; Justin, Tielemans, Mendy, Thomas; Maddison, Vardy, Barnes

Recent Form

This season has been nothing short of woeful for Sheffield United so far, picking up just one point from their opening ten games.

The Blades have lost their last five and, if truth be told, there haven't been many signs that things are about to turn around. One positive from their defeat against West Brom was the number of chances they created. The Blades strikers were given the opportunities to win the game, but proved to be incredibly wasteful in front of goal - profligacy that has dogged them all season.

Here's how both teams have got on in their last five games.

Sheffield United

West Brom 1-0 Sheffield United (28/11)
Sheffield United 0-1 West Ham (22/11)
Chelsea 4-1 Sheffield United (07/11)
Sheffield United 0-1 Manchester City (31/10)
Liverpool 2-1 Sheffield United (24/10)

Leicester

Zorya 1-0 Leicester (03/12)
Leicester 1-2 Fulham (30/11)
Braga 3-3 Leicester (26/11)
Liverpool 3-0 Leicester (22/11)
Leicester 1-0 Wolves (08/11)

Prediction

Both teams are lacking in confidence, that much is obvious.

It may not be the most thrilling encounter of the season, but it should be comfortable enough for the visitors. The Blades' worrying form will have to come to end at some point, but the quality of their opposition - and Vardy in particular - is likely to prove too much for them.

The 33-year-old's pace, movement and clinical finishing is enough to trouble any side on their day, and his record away from home - and Leicester's need for three points - could be just what's required to galvanise Brendan Rodgers' men.

Prediction: Sheffield United 0-2 Leicester
