Leicester vs PSV Eindhoven: TV channel, live stream, team news & prediction

Leicester City will be looking to move one step closer to Europa Conference League glory this season when they host PSV Eindhoven in the first leg of the pair's quarter-final clash.

After dropping out of the Europa League group stages, the Foxes have defeated Randers and Rennes en route to this clash, but PSV arguably represents their toughest test in this competition so far.

The Eredivisie side confidently dispatched FC Copenhagen in the previous round and are going well domestically, currently trailing Ajax by four points in the title race.

Leicester team news

For the first time in a long while, Leicester are looking in fairly good shape injury wise. First-choice centre-backs Wesley Fofana and Jonny Evans started at the weekend, while Rodgers also revealed Luke Thomas could be in line for a return on Thursday.

Unfortunately, Jamie Vardy remains sidelined and it is not clear when the Foxes' leading all-time Premier League goalscorer will be fit again.

PSV team news

PSV will not have Erick Gutierrez at their disposal – he is suspended after picking up three yellow cards in this competition.

Other than that, they look in pretty good shape. Young stars Cody Gakpo and Noni Madueke are names to look out for, while former Chelsea man Marco van Ginkel also turns out for PSV.

Leicester vs PSV score prediction

This one has all the making of an entertaining game. PSV's last Europa Conference League tie saw 12 goals in total and Leicester's leaky defence suggests a similar scoreline is not beyond the realms of possibility here – even if the English side's back four has been strengthened by several returns.

Thanks to their poor Premier League form this term, all of the Foxes' eggs are in this competition's basket for the remainder of the campaign and Rodgers will be selecting a suitably strong starting XI in response.

Leicester's recent display against Manchester United suggested their mentality may have finally shifted too, leaving them with a good chance of getting off to a strong start in this tie on Thursday.

Prediction: Leicester 3-2 PSV
