The table-toppers host struggling Newcastle on Monday aiming to maintain their five-point advantage in the Barclays Premier League.
The Magpies come to the King Power Stadium after head coach Steve McClaren was sacked on Friday with Rafael Benitez tipped to replace him.
Leicester narrowly beat Norwich 1-0 and drew 2-2 with West Brom in their last two home games, before a 1-0 victory at Watford, and Schlupp knows they have had to adapt as teams try to stifle them
"We've got to respect every opponent we play and of course we take each game as it comes
We respect them but we'll be trying to beat them like we do in every game," he said.
"I think a lot of teams have been coming to us and showing us a lot of respect
We've almost had to change the way we approach some games whereas before we played on the counter.
"Now we're trying to dictate the play and work an opening
I think it just shows how far we've come with the team and the players we've got.
"It's not just one game plan now - we can do it one way or the other
That just shows how far we've come."
Newcastle are a point from safety while Leicester's advantage at the top will be cut to two points if Tottenham beat rock-bottom Aston Villa on Sunday but, despite the Magpies' struggles, Schlupp is wary
"They're always dangerous," he told Foxes Player
"They're a really good team and everyone is still baffled as to why they're so low in the league table
"We've kept it tight at the back over the last few months and not conceded many goals
We're going to be attacking and definitely getting at them
"Hopefully we can get an early goal and go on to win the game."
